I wouldn’t like to even hazard a guess at how many chocolate bars I have eaten over my life time but now I don’t really eat them. I do how ever still have a sweet tooth and try to find a more healthier option with natural sweeteners. This Snickers porridge is amazing and if you have a soft spot for chocolate like me you will absolutely love this. Mess around with the toppings until you find some you like.
Ingredients
- 250ml almond milk
- 40g wholegrain oats
- 2tbsp chia seeds
- 1.5tbsp raw honey
- 1tbsp cocoa powder
- 2tbsp crunchy peanut butter
- 1tbsp desiccated coconut
- 1tsp dark chocolate chips
Method
- Heat the almond milk in a saucepan.
- Add the oats, chia seeds, honey, cocoa powder and peanut butter and mix them together.
- Turn the heat down a little and keep stirring until you have the desired consistency.
- Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle on some desiccated coconut and a few dark chocolate chips.
- Make yourself a cuppa and enjoy.
